TWO HEAVY ROBBERS ARRESTED FOR BEING FOUND WITH DANGEROUS WEAPONS.

Police in Mchinji are keeping in custody two men being found with dangerous weapon with an intent of stealing people`s property at Mkanda trading centre in Mchinji district Mchinji spokes person Sergeant Moses Kajawa Nyirenda told Mudziwathu on Thursday. According to the spokes person for Mchinji police station Moses Kajawa Nyirenda , the suspect were James Wiliam 25 years old and Kenedy Moyo 20 years old and is answering charges of being found with armed with an intent to commit felony which is contrary to section 313 sub section A of the penal code. Sergeant Nyirenda further says the suspect James William and Kennedy Moyo were arrested on 10th May 2013 at Mkanda trading centre after found with dangerous weapon which were Toy Rifle, a pair of snipers and two cur puts. On how the police arrested the suspect Sergeant Nyirenda says the police were tipped by some well wishers who doubtful with the suspect who just walking around the trading centre with no idea or not doing any business. After the police search on where they were residing they found with heavy weapon which according the police they were with an intent of committing heavy crimes in the area. Spokes person for Mchinji police station further commended the people who tipped the police after they see any suspicious people and ask people to do like people in Mkanda has done. The suspect made their first appearance at Mchinji first grade magistrate for plea and they all denies the case. The case has been adjourned till 29th May for healing. Suspect James Wiliam aged 25 hails from Mlambe village in the area of traditional authority Katuli in mangochi District while the second suspect Kenedy Moyo aged 20 hails from Chiosya village in the area of traditional authority Simphasi in Mchinji district.
